Futile attempt to break into van

Bloomfield Township police responded to the 2000 block of Klingensmith Road on a larceny complaint the afternoon of Sunday, September 13. The resident told police that someone had smashed the back window of their 2005 Chrysler van, but after a search they determined nothing was missing from the van. Police found a pry mark near the broken window. The case is currently under investigation.
