Laurie Tennent art damaged along park trails

Birmingham police said art located along the trails in Booth and Linden parks were damaged and stolen by an unknown person sometime on or around Wednesday, June 23.


Police said an officer took a property damage report from local artist and studio owner Laurie Tennent, who said several pieces of her art were moved, damaged and stolen.


Four metal photograph pieces sustained the most damage, which were valued at $23,400.


Birmingham police are investigating.
