A Pontiac woman was arrested in Birmingham the afternoon of Friday, February 6, after allegedly attempting to steal nearly $300 worth of items from a grocery store on the 600 block of E. Maple. When officers arrived at the store, they arrested the woman, later to find she had multiple outstanding warrants issued for her arrest from different cities. Police reported the woman was eventually released to the Royal Oak Police Department.

The Bloomfield Township Police Department on Friday, January 23, responded to the area of northbound I-75 freeway and South Boulevard for a serious injury crash which resulted in the death of a passenger in the vehicle. Traffic Investigation Officers, along with members of the South Oakland County Crash Investigation Team (SOCCIT), were called to the scene and investigated a single vehicle, rollover crash.
