Three Detroit teenagers and a 24-year-old Detroit woman were arrested in Birmingham on Tuesday, October 28, in connection with a retail fraud that took place at a Birmingham retailer on the 100 block of S Old Woodward. Birmingham officers at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, were dispatched to the 300 block of Puritan, where a 40-year-old male resident said that his vehicle was stolen from his driveway. Using the vehicle’s tracking system, officers located it in Highland Park and observed two men exit the vehicle. The suspects, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old male from Detroit, were arrested and charged with vehicle theft.
