The Bloomfield Township Police Department on Wednesday, November 12, at approximately 8 p.m., took a report of a retail fraud from Hollywood Market, 1525 S. Opdyke Road. An unknown black female walked out of the store with two cases of Sunkist soda, two family-sized packages of Ritz crackers, and an unknown number of packaged meats. Dick’s once again hit by shoplifting suspect
On Monday, November 10, Dick’s Sporting Goods, 2105 S. Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township, reported a retail fraud in progress. At approximately 7:50 p.m. an unknown black female entered the store and grabbed excessive amounts of clothing off the racks, according to a police report. Four teens wanted for using counterfeit money
A 17-year-old and three 18-year-olds are being investigated for reportedly using counterfeit bills to pay at a Birmingham business on Friday, November 14, at the 200 block of W. Detroit teens arrested for stealing
After stealing merchandise from a retail store at the 100 block of S. Old Woodward in Birmingham, two 17-year-old girls from Detroit were arrested on Wednesday, November 12, later being released to their guardians. Birmingham police reported that they received a report saying the two girls were putting merchandise inside their purses, and when the girls left the store without paying, officers were there to stop them. An investigation is ongoing, Birmingham police reports. Driver wrecks Peabody parking deck gate
The gate to the Peabody parking garage in Birmingham was wrecked the evening of Tuesday, November 11, after a driver tried to skirt the system and exit with another car before the gate closed. A Birmingham staff member reported the damage to city police saying that the Clarkston man originally tried to leave unsuccessfully, then let another car go in front of them to leave which was when the incident happened. Birmingham police reported that they found and contacted the man

Police looking for parking deck fee skirter
Birmingham police are attempting to locate and contact a Bloomfield Hills woman who allegedly left the Peabody Street parking garage the night of Saturday, November 8, by lifting the gate arm and not paying the fee. Witnesses told Birmingham officers that the woman tried to pay at first, was unsuccessful, then lifted the garage’s gate arm to get out. Home invasion suspect arrested in Plymouth

Two vehicles taken from home driveway
On Sunday, November 9, Bloomfield Township police took a report of two stolen vehicles from the driveway of a residence in the 300 block of Glenhurst Drive. A silver Jeep and a silver Audi were stolen in the early morning hours. The case is being handled by the Bloomfield Township Police Investigations Unit and is under investigation. Car crashes into store on Telegraph Road
On Thursday, November 6, Bloomfield Township Police and Fire responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into a building at Thai Taste to Go, 3955 Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township. Mail with check stolen; culprit tries cashing it
Outgoing mail that contained a check was stolen from a Bloomfield Township resident’s mailbox on Tuesday, October 28, and the culprit attempted later to cash the check.
