Woman arrested for retail theft in Birmingham
A Detroit woman was arrested in Birmingham the night of Thursday, February 12, after allegedly stealing items from a store at the 600 block of E. Maple by hiding them in her purse. According to Birmingham police, an officer inside the store saw the woman hiding the items and left the store without paying. She was arrested shortly after and cited for retail fraud.
