Birmingham police are investigating a potential breaking and entering of a home on the 700 block of Pleasant Avenue.  The homeowners allege that they left their home in the early afternoon for a few hours on Monday, October 20, only to return and find signs that someone had attempted to break in. According to Birmingham police, officers noticed pry marks near one of the doors, but the residents believed nothing was stolen from the house.

Bloomfield Township police were notified on Thursday, October 16, that someone stole a license plate from an auto in the 6700 block of Telegraph Road. The victim reported that the license plate on his 2007 Chrysler Town and Country was stolen between 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. the day prior.. Early in the morning of Monday, October 20, an SUV was stolen from the driveway of a Birmingham home on the 1800 block of Redding. An Oak Park man was arrested in Birmingham the night of Tuesday, October 21, after police officers discovered an arrest warrant during a traffic stop for speeding.  According to the police report, patrol officers watched the man speeding near Adams Road and Derby Road and pulled him over.
